When Harry Potter first came out and there was SO much hype surrounding it I decided to go against the flow and ignore it completely, even though I love the fantasy genre. I've never read any of the books or seen any of the movies.

I know there was a big to-do about a main character dying in the last book. That was HP himself then? :ninja

You really need to read them... I didn't start until the fifth book had already come up, in part due to the reason why you haven't read them. It was well worth it though, I've read the entire series three times now.

You should, though. Take it from me. I love reading, and I've been reading them since the first book came out. It's a really good series for getting emotionally attached to the characters. Except when things start going south..lol

Crap. I have a folder in my pm's for debate votes. I flushed it when the votes started coming in for the finals.

I can tell you tha Retro won in a shutout and that you won by a convincing margin

People agreed that Zirc seemed to give up. In your case it was that you argued your case better but that both of you did an excellent job

That's what I was thinking, it's good to see what people thought were your strong points or weak points and Sam said I won by a margin so you must have done pretty good too!
