Sibling Love - what are your thoughts?

You still cant give me a decent reason of why it's so bad, though, can you?;)

I have never had a sister, but if I did, I cannot imagine looking at her in that way, she's family, the bond is different than sexual.

The thought of it makes me cringe, if we have not evolved past the the ability to only see sexual opportunity, then we aren't a civilized society, if I cannot subdue my sexual urges good enough to keep my pecker out of a sibling, then there's something wrong.

I hear what Peter's saying...

Why do YOU personally find it so revolting?
Is it a genuine feeling, or are we just conditioned by society to feel it's wrong?

Also, if you are of the Christian persuasion... did Adam and Eve not essentially populate the earth?
And when the great flood happened, was it not only Noah's family who survived to repopulate the earth?

...i have a few friends who are of mixed sexes when it comes to brothers and sisters...and from what i have gathered with them, it was rather normal to , shall we say, act out certain sexual acts, but not know they were being sexual at the time due to their ages. It did however stop as soon as they became aware it was not "normal" based on societies influences....which as we know due to the higher tendencies to have birth malformaties.

I don't have a brother, but i can see how, even though i find it grossly sickening to think about, it would at some point be a norm in that relationships growing pains and learning about themselves and their sexuality.

That being said, this article shows two siblings of an older enough age to 'know better' and i find their actions wrong. They, in the article, obviously do not have a healthy view of what appropriate forms of contact if between siblings and need their heads felt.
