Success often requires sacrifice, but does prioritizing work over relationships lead to fulfillment or regret? Should society redefine success beyond career achievements? Have you ever struggled with balancing ambition and personal happiness?

Being self employed for over 30 years my work has dominated my life when it should not have. I am sliding into retirement and less stress is really making me a happier person.

When you are young, you need to prioritize career. By doing this you will be able to built a stable finance. Once you start growing old, you need to give more importance to your personal life. That's where your true happiness lie.

I have really struggled at a point to balance my personal life with career. At the end of it all, I just allocate the major time to my career. But I carve out a space to have quality personal time.

I believe balance is key. While a career is important for growth and stability, personal life and relationships offer fulfillment and support. Prioritizing one over the other long-term can lead to burnout or regret.

You cannot succeed with one without the other, I think the two of them work hand in hand. Choosing your career over your personal life can leave you lonely and deserted. Don't get me wrong, your career is equally important but just create a system that you will give you satisfaction on both ends so you won't be missing out on the other.

I believe we should strive for a work-life balance. By doing it, you will be happier. I am glad that I work from home and can give priority to my personal life as well. Overworking can drain you and put your overall health and well-being at risk.
