In many communities, mental health is not openly discussed. Is privacy helpful, or does it prevent people from getting support? Should cultural attitudes change?

In traditional societies, mental health is often treated as a private or even taboo topic, but keeping it hidden can worsen stigma and prevent help. Balancing respect for cultural norms with awareness and support is key. openness can save lives and strengthen communities.

Traditional societies think mental health as a private matter, some even have taboo around it. However, this though and practice should change. They need to believe that mental health is just like physical health, and no one should be ashamed of mental health issues.

I think this practice needs to change. Getting help for your mental health is not a bad thing and it shouldn't be seen as a negative thing. Your mind controls every single aspect of your life and body, if it's not in good shape it can harm you.
