A guy from detriot wants to drive down and look at my car in the next couple days, he said he will be bringing cash with him. Should i be worried about a guy who brings 14 g's with him from detroit?

I wouldn't be worried. I usually walk around with a few grand in my wallet just to make sure I'm ready for anything that might occur. You have to remember...people carry larger amounts these days for any reason. The guy probably doesn't want to wait for you to have to run to a bank to make certain a check is legit. I would do the same.

Just make certain you call said bank and verify that it is legit before signing over the car.

funny thing is, in philly some people carry that kind of money with them all the time. some even have enough to buy a car with at all times. fugging stupid if you ask me.


even where i live we have a hang out spot where a bunch of us chill at and sometimes i walk over to the lukoil and people pull out big huge wads of money. mostly C-notes and 50's

in my head im saying , your damn stupid for carrying that kind of doe with ya.

Ive learned the hard way before about carrying that much cash on me. You lose it, tough shit. There aint no replacing it or proving you had it.

When I get my paycheck, I take out just what I need for bills and a little for "me" and the rest goes into my savings account where I know it is safe.

my friend just took 750.00 out of the bank before work and stuck it in her purse in a money envolope and at work someone took it out her purse.

she was hysterical when she looked in her purse to get it out and it wasnt there. i never seen someone like that before. i felt so bad for her.

when i bought my cabin in the mountains (don't have it anymore, sold it a year ago) i paid for it cash i went at the bank to sign the papers and handed them 30K in a little brown lunch bag. :rofl they looked at me funny :dunno
