I know most dudes won't give a shit or notice but do you notice that seasons for shopping are getting shorter? You hafta shop in winter/spring for summer and by the time summer hits it's time for back to school 2 months before kids even head back?

I've noticed it with baby clothes. All the winter clothes are in the shops in September sort of time and by the time it's January, most of it is lighter Spring stuff.

I know it's because parents buy clothes in advance for babies that aren't born yet, but it drives me mad.

Yes.. I have noticed that.. and I am betting you will see Halloween shit in the store soon.
Even better. Cracker Barrel here already has their Thanksgiving stuff out. Yes, THANKSGIVING...in July...in Georgia where it's 100 degrees out and nowhere NEAR Thanksgiving weather, LOL

I just got an email from a store I frequent that their fall line of clothing is in stores now, and I was just thinking about how obnoxious it is to have to shop in advance. Though, on the other hand, that means that most clothing stores have clothes that match the current weather trend on sale, which certainly makes shopping easier in that respect.

The only downside is that it's not the same way with children's clothes. I had to buy my daughter's dress for Christmas last year in October. I saw it hanging at Babies-r-Us in like August, and it wouldn't have been there by the time Christmas rolled around. I ran into that problem the year before. :willy_nilly:
