By definition he terrorized that area. Regardless of that he was a U.S. citizen and laws still apply. I see young people who have been committing crimes since they were 12 who are walking the streets with extensive rapsheets and still are on the street committing more crimes. By definition they are terrorists as well. Yet we coddle them through the court system until they finally screw up bad enough to get convicted to a prison sentence. Then we let them out early to commit more crimes.

Well if you watch and listen to this video, it sure as hell sounds like a war zone. I dont know who all were firing full automatic weapons but I am pretty sure it was more then one. :surrender

they were going to kill him one way or the other for sure...just like they shot at the wrong trucks days prior. both trucks unarmed people.. the officers didn't even see the occupants...just started to fire. .....now burned alive in a cabin.
some heads should roll on this one, but nothing will happen.
Dorner made his point and shown he was correct IMO.

Lets just say I didn't lose any sleep seeing those federal agents being shot at when they were on the roof.
Waco was a government cluster**** and they covered their ass.

When the government wants you dead, they may deem you to be one.
I'm still giving it a 50/50 chance what Dorner most likely had a good beef. He may went about it the wrong way, but it got noticed.

I agree, I cant say that he was inocent or guilty of any of the things the LAPD and media accused him of, but the whole thing stinks in my opinion. You might find this interesting, I dont expect anyone to change their opinion, just keep an open mind.

LOl there are several clips where the officers are CLEARLY heard saying
"Bring the gas cans"
the dude even confirmed it with the dispatcher and the dispatched acknowledged the fire was started.
i don think anyone should be surprised that the bottom line is
a cop killer is pursued with a lot more vigour than your regualr run of the mill murderer
it is ingrained in cops to mete out justice when they revenge the death of one of their own

And that is one reason to ALWAYS fear the police and the powers that they have, and to ALWAYS watch and supervise them.
They are nothing more then men with power.
Watch an interview with the two hostages he (Dorner) tied up. They said all he wanted to do was clear his name.
Sad thing is it is badly tarnished now.
While I respect the laws...when the law operates outside the law I lose respect .....perfect example is shooting the wrong trucks.
Wrong trucks and not identifying the occupants...while occupants were not threatening to the officers.
Boils down to the man couldnt have turned himself in if he wanted to...they were on a mission to kill.
As a side note...had that been my 71 year old mom in the truck who was shot...I am going to go stomp some ass...They can shove the offer of a new truck up their ass...I want to pound the faces of the trigger men.
If justice is to really be served those officers will be charged with attempted murder{as that is what they tried to do}{while no threat was present}.
Same for the other truck that was rammed and shots fired at....charge em.
Charge em with arson on the burned cabin and murder {you cant blame the guy for not coming out..as it was eveident they just wanted to kill as shown by the other trucks..a danger need not be present}.
Time to clean up the law doing as they wish in areas of California.

Some would consider the man took a stand and wanted the rest of the United States to notice.
Who those people are, I have no clue.

Apologies, I was talking about Dorner.
LAPD is what they are. Perhaps thats one reason why Dorner didn't fit in and they wanted him out. Don't know.

If I remember correctly, one of those trucks refused to stop when ordered to by the police. Regardless of whether or not you know your vehicle description matches a high-priority suspect or not, when the police tell you to stop, you stop. Whether or not it was a good shoot, I can't say...that's for IA to figure out.
I've read the majority of his manifesto and I have to say that I believe that he probably WAS in the right as far as the incident that got him fired goes. I believe that he went into the department as a man of integrity and chose to stand up for what he believed in rather than going along w/ the "code of silence" mentality that tends to exist. Too many officers have that "yeah, it's wrong, but I don't want to be the one to rock to the boat" mentality...and those that DON'T have it start to have problems getting backup, if you catch my drift.
HAVING SAID THAT...you don't fight fire w/ gasoline. The method he chose to go about is wrong and I'm glad that he was stopped (saw on the news tonight that they positively identified his remains...gotta tell ya, I was seriously starting to think he had gotten away)...but I don't doubt that what he says happened really did happen and, in his mind, this was the only way to set things right. To some of us he'll only be remembered as the "ex-cop cop-killer"...but some people will see him as a martyr.

Considering he didn't have a family, I can understand why he chose what he did.
Ironic that he unintentionally made them look like idiots by hiding within eyesight of the HQ of the search party.
I don't think I can ever understand why someone chooses to take innocent lives...but I do think that he made a calculated decision to take actions that would bring the most attention to the situation at that included a conscious decision to sacrifice his life in order to bring attention to the issue. He even said in his manifesto that he was not afraid to die as he felt he had died the the day he was fired from the department.
