I was sifting through some 500 plus photos of the McCain/Palin campaign this morning, and came to a somewhat shocking revelation, there are a lot of what even I consider.....Sexist portrayls of Gov. Palin

Here are a couple of shots for an example:

Now.....On a very serious note, it seems to me (and consider these are only a few shots) that the media, might be trying to plant into our subconscious that Palin is more of a sex symbol, or an angry Bible toting intolerant "old schooler".

A beauty queen without brains perhaps.

What are your thoughts? I mean she is physically appealing, yes. But is someone trying to plant that idea to distract us from principles?

If I had a leg or foot fetish, I would be in heaven right now.

Hey, I'm not saying she isn't attractive....But it's another distractor from the issues, that's all I'm saying. That and someone I think is playing on the "Hey look at this ass" factor. And I think it's a shame.

I certainly hope folks learna lesson from this election, and start fightingposing the mass media a little more ferverently in the future.

I agree with you 100% brotha. To be honest with you, I do not think it matters who wins, we are screwed either way.

I'm inclined to agree with you. The great news about a total breakdown of our government, is that maybe....Just maybe we can re-build it the way it was intended.

Distracting from the issues? Absolutely. But pictures from 2 photographers does not make it a media conspiracy. If there is anyone to blame for the lack of issues being covered by the media here, it's the McCain camp. Yet again Palin has been made unavailable to the press and/or interviews. How the hell is anyone suppose to make an informed decision about her or the ticket when we know nothing about her? If they are holding her up as the best suited person for our next VP, don't we have the right to get to know her and where SHE stands on issues? And I'm not talking about the scripted talking points either...

McCain didn't pick her based on foreign policy experience or her intellect. He didn't pick her for her ability to think on her feet or the fact that she is ready to be VP. So if you don't think there was sexism going on with this pick, then you know something I don't. A pick that was made the day after he met her... :dunno

..well... I think the conservative gov made her the 'trophy wife' to the old guy. The way I look at it is, would you really want someone who has obviously been chosen out of being a woman and not because she might have some brains, which I haven't seen she has yet....to be the president should the old guy die. I wouldn't. The conservative gov, I believe, in the US has insulted women by selecting her on the grounds of trying to GET the vote of women JUST because she is a woman. I don't think she has it to be in the office she is now running for. Shes looks more like a woman who need to run for PTA then for the presidents office.

...and these pics of her feet... probably some shoe fetish pervert took them. OR some one who know you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes they wear.

1. The Katie Couric interviews....And I think there were well over a half dozen, i thought were catty on behalf of Katie.

2. Not submitting to every interview that comes your way isn't a sign of having either nothing at all to offer nor something to hide.

And you of all should recognize and appreciate that there are technically no "credentials" needed to hold either office other than what is required by the Constitution.

Personally I think picking a Washington outsider, and I mean total outsider is a smart move for anyone, all we have seen is the career DC politicians trade blows by contorting Congressional records.

Both sides have done nothing but trade blwos that simply are not relevant, the media should be emphasizing that she is young, spirited, a working mother with some grass roots leadership skills, that hasn't been tainted by the lure of "best interest" windfalls.

Doesn't that count for something? Because as far as I'm concerned anymore, a political pedigree composed of years on Capital Hill, isn't worth the paper it's written on.;)
