Sern's Log House and Bakery

Well, I doubt Iona invented the alternate tune. The singer really delivers powerfully on the final verse where it all climaxes :)

however, although I don't much like the old tune (probably based on the way it was sung at the church I went to) - the version you linked with the harmonies ain't too bad.

Avalon sings that song as well. It's on their album A Maze Of Grace, which I have. Good stuff.

Never heard of them, but youtubed their version. It's not bad. Busy but not bad. I guess I have a preference towards Wynonna's version as she sings it more passionately and I love the choir in it too.

Still, if Avalon's stuff is half as decent as their version of that - I'd listen to a cd ;)

Guess what.. I downloaded Tom Tom Western Europe for my iPhone, as I have it with me pretty much all the time - looks quite nifty - better and quicker than my old standalone Tom Tom. Prob will get the USA and Canada maps for when I go abroad again.

Anyways, the default voice is called Serena, except this one talks in a British accent!

Just wiki'ed her as I'd never heard of her. Such a short life. :(

Yeah it's so sad :(

I want to buy the movie Sylvia but it's so fucking expensive. It wasn't the greatest film at portraying her life but the end of the film when it shows Sylvia Plath leaving her children milk and sandwiches and then taping off the door while she kills herself makes me cry so much.

And what makes is sadder to me, is that the woman Ted Hughes left her for (Assia Weville) killed herself and their daughter becuase she felt that she couldn't live up to Syliva and that their daughter wasn't as good as the children he had with Sylvia.
