I suppose one could get upset about that, but it really pales in comparison to this story: http://www.thegrio.com/news/drug-bust-shuts-down-pennsylvania-daycare.php

:homo: No kidding..how could 4 babies dying pale in comparison to that? that day care owner was out of line for the drugs and sex toys, but at least no child died.

Worse than death itself? Let's see...I can come up with 2 or 3 things off the top of my head.Death is pretty final![]()

Worse than death itself? Let's see...I can come up with 2 or 3 things off the top of my head.
1) How about having your mother and father killed and your 3 sisters by a drunk driver? By someone who's been convicted at least three times prior, but still has the right to drive. You were in the vehicle, but were the sole survivor. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15698847/ns/us_news-life/
2) Maybe you were teased alot growing up. You were intelligent, but didn't fit in with the other kids. You were even mocked for your intelligence. You and a friend have had enough and decide the only thing that can be done is to massacre classmates and teachers. Thereby destroying families and holding hundreds of people hostages of fear and survivors traumatized for life. What if you were one of the survivors of this horrific event? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbine_High_School_massacre
3) What about going through such a traumatic event (such as the 2 listed above) and turning to drugs or alcohol to help cope? You were a survivor and now you're a victim to addiction. Those who love you are giving up hope on there being any type of recovery in your life. You're already depressed and your own family doesn't help. http://www.trauma-and-alcoholism.com/
4) Maybe you've been a victim of ongoing physical or sexual abuse. Maybe it was by someone other than a lover like a family member and you feel there's no escape. You just have to go along with it.

5) What if your own country infected you, purposely. The reasoning behind it can only be viewed as racist. You were born black in America and lived in a rural area of Alabama and were one of nearly 400 other black men part of the Tuskeegee experiment. You were injected with syphilis so doctors could see the effects.http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0762136.html
6) Maybe you're ridiculed on a daily basis. Sometimes you receive death threats based solely on your religious practices or choices. You're not dead, but you're living in fear that you will be a victim of murder. http://www.haaretz.com/jewish-world/news/report-french-synagogue-gets-letter-with-death-threats-bullets-1.310194
7) How about coming back from fighting a losing war for your country to be spit on and degraded upon your return? You were surrounded by other's getting their heads blown off and subjected to chemical warfare all in the name of your country and you come home to find your war has just begun.
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700233579/Why-no-heros-welcome-for-Vietnam-vets.html
8) What about being a child, hoping to help provide for your impoverished family only to be forced into a life of sex slavery? Is there still hope each day? Does the will to survive start to burn out?
http://www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/04/29/cnnheroes.koirala.nepal/index.html
9) Maybe being wrongfully committed of a crime and serving 13 years in prison only to find out that you'll be compensated $25,000 for the state's mistake. 13 years of your life--gone! Here's less than the average American salary--sorry. http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/local/crime_and_courts/article_e0c91fea-62a8-11df-a1b6-001cc4c03286.html
Yeah, death can be seen as the worst possible outcome in some cases. What about fear of death? What about being betrayed by your nation? What about being abused on a daily basis? What about being told you'll never amount to anything by someone you love? What about going through life in misery, pain, depression, substance addiction??
Some see death as a reprieve. Some are hopeful of death because they view it as a rebirth. Many things can be worse than death.

I'm not claiming that I personally feel there are things worse than death in my own life. I'm saying there's thousands upon thousands of people who do have a life in which death would be a form of relief. There may be a time in my life that I would agree with them. For now, no. As far as death being final, I can't argue one way or the other on that. It may be. It might not be. I haven't experienced it yet nor have I talked with anyone who has or read a book that they have written about it afterwards. I have read about those who have had near-death experiences and they're pretty interesting. Interesting enough to make me question whether death is final. It is final for the physical body, but I believe that mankind exists beyond the physical realm. I'm not a religious person, but I am spiritual. But, that's whole other debate.Death is so final...are you claiming that there are worse things than death?
