School ?

Is it too early to think about school ?
We are seeing ads all over the place about back to school sales.
We do have a few weeks left to enjoy the summer,though it was so hot to do anything.
Amusement parks are still running in full swingfor the next 2 weeks.
Afterwards the amusement parks(most) will be operating in special times with reduced rides.
College students will be going back to school.

Are we ready ?
Me ?
My school days are over but it's interesting to see the hustling of folks getting ready to return.
Besides...I can always use a set if pens and a tablet.

i have been hitting the stores with the 1 cent sales for school supplies. i can always use pencils, glue sticks, and paper

Unless they've changed the calendars, my HS is starting in three weeks, and college is starting in two, so it's really not *that* soon for a lot of places. Districts that start after Labor Day, yeah... kinda early.

I've spent nearly half the summer break in one kind of training seminar or another. I start back on the 15th and the students start on the 22nd. I can't wait.

A lot of districts around here have already started back. The kids start back here on the 11th. Back to school shopping is in full swing.

Kids over here don't go back till the first week in September. But there are ads for school stuff/uniforms on TV. I always used to enjoy buying my school stuff (stationary etc) for some reason, I guess because it was all new.

Perhaps along the snowbelt states where they get tons of snow.
They may start early in case of cancelations due to the weather...taking a guess.

My little brother's school starts on Wednesday. The public schools in the district start on the 11th, I think. And I start back on the 20th.

Summer's too long. I think we should have a one-week break after every six-weeks. That way the breaks are spread out and the kids don't forget over the summer what they'd learned last year. Besides, most parents can't take more than a week for vacation anyway.

It's never too early to start planning for back to school. Shopping is best done during sale times. Kids in sports typically have to be training/practicing before schools starts so they have to be prepared well ahead of time anyways.

I finished up school shopping a week ago. They start on Aug. 22nd. I'm hoping time between now and then goes slowly.
