That's our summer pattern. Every afternoon around 430......... It's coming quicker than I'd like..... I'm already starting to wish for Autumn to hurry up and get here......

Not yet. I still need to get my smoker.. and smoke a pork sholder and some ribs and a turkey... and.. and... lots of other things!

I had one 4 or 5 years ago. did a turkey once in it... smoked it for several hours over the course of a couple of days... did some basting with maple syrup while using I think I was using a cherry wood for the smoking.

My brother in law said it was the best Thanksgiving turkey he had ever had. (his dad... who always did there turkey and is as big of a foodie as I am was sitting next to him... punched him in the sholder. Hard.)

Heh... amazing how that works! My last one was gas, but the fire ordinance around here wont let me do that.

Oh really? He lived in the city too...

Us? We can burn whatever we want. Beauty of living in the sticks. Except when one of our idiot neighbors decides to burn their trash.... :mad

But we have a big firepit in the yard down by the Swamp. We only burn yard waste.... Tho, we have thought of building a huge burning man out in the Swamp and lighting him up.... But what would the neighbors think... :wtf::24:
