I took a look at the Official Church of Satan site. What is their source? I looked over the Eleven Satanic Rules of Earth and it looks like this guy Anton Szandor LaVey, just made them up such as No.5 Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.

You know in Rosemary's Baby, they weren't into being respectful of people's wishes. Mostly they were manipulative, and hurtful when it came to getting what they wanted. ;)

I bought a copy or the Satanic Bible, wanted to read through it. Before ya get to all the magik bullshit, the first few chapters are decent enough. basically all about bettering oneself. Dont like the ideal of using others to get what i need/ahead, but i guess we all do this to some degree.

I dont by into it because at the end of the day i consider it, along with other religions, to be useless/irrelevant to me.

I believe there is a demonic world. A world which we cannot see, but with which we can communicate. It is extremely dangerous to do so. Many people have contact with so called 'ghosts or spirits' but they actually are demons pretending to be someone dear (family, relative) to the one that calls upon this demon. I believe these demons are fallen angels, mighty spiritual creatures none the less. Not only did God create human fleshly beings but also angelic spiritual beings. These beings have rebelled against God and were thrown into our world out of the realm of the angels who did not rebel against God.

The demons are hostile to us and want us, just as them, not to know God. They will do whatever it takes to keep us from knowing God. Their leader is satan, the most powerfull angel ever created. Satan has been defeated on the cross, where Jesus died, and he knows it. He knows he has little time and is furious and vengeful, full of hate against man, because man is made in the image of God.

That's one theory.

But I'd really like to know how you reached this conclusion about ghosts being demons. Who is feeding you this or is that your faith talking again? ;) Ghosts could be spirits or energy that has not left the Earthly plain. Of course they could be demons too or just our imagination, but I'd never assume that. I try to operate on some factual basis.

That's what the Bible teaches us. If christianity is true then these things I say out of Gods Word are real.
