I think it's sick and fake how Sarah Palin totes around her grandson when she had suggested her daughter have an abortion. I know people with kids they love, and even THEY don't tote around their kids as much or as Michael Jackson freakishly clingy as that bitch.

Her politics and party alliances aside, it's just sick.

First, I've never heard of Palin suggesting her daughter have an abortion. Got a link?

Second, what's she supposed to do, toss the baby in the trash? Would that make you accept her more? I'm certain many women have wanted their daughters to have an abortion or give a baby up for adoption, then accepted the daughter's decision to keep the baby.

I swear, if there was a picture of her drinking a glass of ice water some of you'd find a way to paint her as a hypocrite against global warming.

Despite the fact that I absolutely despise Sarah Palin and everything she stands for, I find it hard to believe that the woman who once said that she would oppose abortion even if her own daughter was raped, would tell her daughter to get an abortion.

it is. it's horrible and makes her a horrible person in my book. family is family, they are not objects to use to further one's career.

I took issue with her putting her political ambitions ahead of a mothers concern for her daughters privacy at that traumatic time in the daughters life, but I have no issue with her behavior as gramma.

Maybe I'm just missing whatever news event prompted this thread.

It's not that she just cares for and carries around her grandchild.

She clings to it freakishly often when the cameras are around. And it's her grandchild, not her child.

Her daughter should be at home taking care of the baby.

I'll look for a link or something later. It was something I read a long time ago, and not on the internet.

She clings to it freakishly often

in this context she uses freakishly to describe how often she holds the baby, not how she holds the baby.

sorry to point that out to you accountable but how you read it isnt how she typed it.

You're right, but in the OP she also called Palin "freakishly clingy."

I'm starting to hear Rick James in the background. :D

I can't find it online. Methinks Janie owes an apology
If I remember correctly it was her daughter that said at one time she was considering an abortion and mama Sara said " NO ". I could be wrong though.

As far as Sara packing the kid around a lot it isn't any different than other grandparents doing exactly the same thing. Many, many grandparents are forced into that situation because of the actual parents actions or lack thereof.

Yeah, what a horrible example to set. We certainly don't want to anyone too see people loving and caring for their families. That just wouldn't set a good example for people.

lol i think she's referring to how she tends to appear to be holding the child much more often than you would see someone who wasnt like sarah palin, like a regular grandmother.

we know politicians use family to further themselves, what better way than with a baby? everyone loves a baby. i know i do...grilled, fried. they're awesome buffalo style.:24:

yeah because everyone does this in front of a camera. let me reword that some, cameras, lots of them. to get in the news. to try and show (still) that she's some family oriented person. you really dont see that? you must be new to politics.:p

Okay, I'm the first to admit that when Sarah Palin talks, I generally doze... but I'm looking for photos of her with the grandson and having a hard time finding anything but repeated offers to look at stories about the grandsons father posing for playgirl:yuk
