Sales

i just had a bunch of fun spending a couple hundred bucks on ebay buying gemstones and silver to make jewelry with yesterday.

I bought a cordless keyboard and rodent combo for 60% off. I also saved about $150.00 on my new lens.

I'm usually pretty lucky with sales.... and this year was no exception. :)

Clothing
Shoes
Wallet (it rocks! loads of space for pictures, credit cards, coins, currency, etc.!)

I will not divulge how much I spent though. :D

Speaking of pictures. I almost forgot to mention I bought a nice frame for 50% off.

I've been looking for frames for the pictures that you sent me...... I am apparently very fussy.... or very cheap. I have yet to find a frame on sale or in the price range that I'm willing to spend.... as well as getting a matte finish that I like for them.

I'm looking for white frames...... have to be white to go in my bedroom. I did go to a framing place and talked to a guy there. He showed me some pretty nice frames and mattes.... and told me he would matte the pictures for free. I just have to bring him the pictures and in about 45 minutes.... they'd be ready to go on the walls. My pocketbook flinched when he said the final price. :(

I know I'll make a decision soon. I was at a Target of all places.... and there were some nice white frames with glass on sale. I just have to buy the mattes I want and cut them myself. I should be able to get this project accomplished very soon. ;)

You might wanna check them out. I used to buy custom frames but it's much too expensive now and that's why I stick to the ready made ones. I bought mine at Michaels.

Michaels also sells precut mattes and they are usually under 10 bucks for a nice one. Cutting them yourself is not something I like to do cuz I don't have a matte cutter.

Flea markets are another good place to buy frames. Usually you get some crappy picture in 'em but I frow those away. ;)

:homo: Michael's is the first place I go when shopping for picture frames and mattes.

I get fliers from Michaels occasionally. I think it's a day trip away though. I also noticed they never put their friggin' address on the fliers. Guess I'll have to google them and see exactly how far away they are from here.

Hubby has some pretty neat tools in 'his' garage. He assured me that he can cut anything I buy precisely as I want it. If he doesn't... he'll be buying whatever he screws up! :D
