Sad note.

I know this doesn't pertain to well to this board, but on Hondaswap we just had a death in our little family, so to speak. A good friend of the board passed away this morning at 5 am due to complications to a long pre-existing heart problem. I don't know the full story of how it happened, but it's throwing me through a loop. I didn't really even 'know' this guy, but it hit me just as hard as when my grandmother died.

The admins on the board are setting up some sort of fund for a wreath to commemorate this guys life, I'm not asking any of you guys to give since none of us besides BDN and I knew of him.

He always had a smile on his face, and was never rude or inconsiderate to anyone. He's in a much better place now, and his pain and suffering are over.

RIP Bob, August 12th, 1986 - February 28th 2006

I'm not exactly sure, he never really talked about what his exact conditions were. The information posted is sketchy but we're all assuming he went into some sort of cardiac arrest and they couldn't revive him.

I just realized that he had lymphoma, but it was in remission since August of 04. Our only source freaked out upon hearing the news and we haven't heard from her since 3 pm today.

I know he had just had a pacemaker put in a few weeks prior to Valentines Day and was released from the hospital shortly after that.

It just feels really weird that he's no longer with us, after reading his words over and over. Death never seems so permanent until something like this happens.

James, I'm really sorry to hear this. I read the threads & he really seemed like a fighter. It's a real shame when the good guys pass at such a young age. I've got his family & Jamie in my prayers.

Hope you're doing okay, sweetie. *hugs*

maybe be lame but its true... only the good die young. sorry to hear about your friend. Its horrible to see someone leave at such an early age. i as one know it well, he doesnt have to spend those horrible days in the hospital anymore.
