Well this is going to come off as being an asshole maybe. I am going to say it anyway.
People with no jobs and barely scrapping by disgust me. Social assistanced pigs that have no sense of pride. Now I know there are circumstances that go againest what I am saying. If the economy sucks that is a different story. If you legitimately are trying to find a job your not in this catagory I have created in my head. The people that constantly feel sorry for themselve and think the world is againest them deserve a fucking kick in the pants. I have friend that are like this and I am trying to cut them out of my life. They expect sympathy and all I feel is disgusted.
There is a million reasons not to educate yourself. There all bullshit. Get a loan and educate yourself. If you really want to better yourself go to school. Take a trade. Take a work term. Do something that is productive instead of scrapping the bottom of the barrel. There are some people that are happy working at mcdonalds there whole life. That is fine. I don't care what someone does. As long as there doing something. Just don't complain about how tough your life is. You can't always play the cards your dealt but you can try and get a better hand. People waste years of there lives just complaining and wishing on stars that they win the lottery. While they live in there apartment smoking there cigarettes eating spam from a can. The real people I feel proud for are the ones that legitimately come from nothing and build a life for themselves and start the ground work for a better upbringing for there kids and there kids kids.
Get it clear though. There are exceptions to this. This is directed mostly at my generation (I am 28) we are for the most part thankless fucking pukes that want everything handed to us. I am fed up trying to be nice to my friends and some of my family. Wake the fuck up and do something for yourself. Go to school or work your way to something better. It is not going to be handed to you. Kudos to the people that have built your own live and rely on no one. Is it hard to get to this point ? Fuck ya. Is it rewarding ? Well if you have gone though it then you know the answear to this question.
