I seriously just spent 45 minutes t the grocery store... and came back with the following...

-2 things of Greek yogurt
-4 bananas
-1 pkg deli thins (flat bread)
-1 pkg ham
-1 pkg cheese
-1 bottle of Cole Zero

I hte food shopping... like really hate food shopping!!! I'm the only one at my current house that is really minding what I eat, so I only buy things for myself really. I just cant ever make up my mind and go on one big shopping trip. Instead...Im at the grocery store like 4 times a week :thumbdown

Anyone else hate food shopping??

I only hate it because people don't know where they're going, block aisles, don't use manners, let their kids run everywhere. I like when it's empty and I can run in, get what I need and leave within 15-30 minutes stocked up for two weeks to a month.

I spent an hour and half at Costco today... It was pretty good cept Liam decided to fill the cart with things we weren't getting and I spent way too much because it's all bulk and really good deals... Normally I love to grocery shop.. I plan the meals for the week coming up.. but today.. I couldn't seem to get into it.

I hate grocery shopping. It's always the same old shit boring shit that goes into the cart. If I had my way we would be living off fresh air and love.

It's alright, in terms of I know where I'm going in this store I go to, I know where everything is. My routine is something like fruit/veg, household stuff/toiletries, cakes, biscuits, bakers section, butchers section, then frozen food. Not deliberately really, that's literally the way the shop is laid out. The other thing is it doesn't matter what time I go, it's ALWAYS busy.

I buy a lot of my own food since working a lot more and having youth allowance, which allows me to buy my own healthier food compared to my family's which is all processed foods...so I quite enjoy doing my own shopping, and being a little more independent and getting to make my own choices. The only thing I don't buy is dinner which mum makes quite well :)
And I'm not normally fussed how long I spend shopping...if I see a big line up, I usually hope it has died down by the time I finish picking up items. Not much I can do though if they are busy =/

I hate it when Joe goes to Cosco. There are two of us and we don't have a freezer, just the one over our Fridge. I don't want 2 dozen egg rolls. I like them but you get 2 dozen you can't get anything else in the freezer and I don't want to eat them daily.

As long as I have cheese, mayonaise and bread and margarine in the house I am happy. Pretty low maintenance gal here.
