no, the game will start @ 730 and be broadcast on the Fox outlets in New York and Minnesota.

Not last year.. Vancouver did not have roof on Stadium so Lions played outside like real boys.. That's why they did not go far.. :24::24:

Ford Field - Lions
Metrodome - Vikings
Georgia Dome - Falcons
Superdome - Saints
Reliant Field (retractable) - Texans
University of Phoenix Stadium (retractable) - Cardinals
Edward Jones Dome - Rams
Lucas Oil Stadium - Colts

Only three of those are in areas that would be affected by snow (Vikings, Lions, and Colts)... the Cardinals and Texans stadiums are retractable roofs, and they're usually only kept closed at the beginning of the season when it's really hot outside in Phoenix and Houston. So I guess a quarter of NFL teams play in enclosed stadiums, 15% if you don't count the Cardinals and Texans.

But what happened at the Metrodome is freaking insane, had to have been a toooon of snow to be able to cause that much damage. Even more than was on Soldier Field for the Bears vs. Patriots game.

Gonna be a real interesting night in Detroit at the Vikings vs Giants game

And not in a good way.

Lets check the facts

1. It is cold as hell outside and the wind is blowing mightily
2. Anybody at yesterdays Lions game can get in for free
3. Anybody who had a ticket to the game in MN gets in for free
4. People lined up during the night and 25,000 tickets were given away this morning (and twice as many could have been given out)

That makes it roughly 175,000 potential tickets that are out there.

Now obviously not all that many are going to come from MN but thus far the reports are there are at least 3 charter planes bringing people in.

At the local level there are over 90,000 tickets out there potentially

Now considering the place seats 66,000 I think it is safe to say there are going to be some very pissed off people waiting in the cold to get into the game and several thousand will be turned away. Many who sat in line during the night.

As I said this should be very interesting
