I'm voting for him. :muscles:
As much as I don't like that 62 bucks coming out of my check every week, weakening the federal government is probably not the best idea at this juncture.
really? i think the government is wayyy too involved in our lives.
By doing what? All the government does for me is take money and provide my freedoms and protection via our insanely well trained military personel, police, fire and hospitals (ok so police and fire aren't federally paid through our taxes... but if the Federal IRS is dissolved, the state level might be next).
The federal government and executive branch have exponentially increased to unnerving levels of power in the past 6 years.
So cut the funding and direct it more into the military, or disease research, or schooling.
Why bother abolishing it when there is always a way to spend it better? Or better yet, LOWER it, cut the power and give us all a break without demolishing protection.
I don't think we should completely eliminate the IRS or anything like it, just weaken it.
Oh, and we have far too much spending going towards military as it is. If anything needs to be cut in spending it is "defense" spending.
You will never win that arguement with me. If anything we should add funding. More helmets. more body armer. More heavy armor for Hummers, especially while we have men out of the country.
No see, we have plenty of money already for defense. Its just that its not spent wisely.
Is that why more body armor has been voted down in politics?
I left out stupid politicians. Those too.
My point is the power held by any branch of our government is regulated by the people.
The people need to realize we actually have a voice. If I voted, my opinions would get heard a lot more.

I was watching future weapons the other day, and that complete joke of a host was testing out that "dragon skin" body armor. That stuff is awesome.
So we've been arguing the same point in two different methods?
