I think crappy weather is everywhere!..
We keep having one nice day, followed by two with rain, thunderstorms and lighting... followed by two cloudy, windy and chilly... :(

Do you get tornadoes there?..
We don't have them here, but I think the electrical storms are just as bad.. :willy_nilly:

It's been lovely here for a few days and forecast sun sun sun the rest of the week. Of course it's Scotland so doesn't actually get all that hot. 15 degrees is nothing to be sniffed at here :p

The count of tornadoes here in Alabama from Friday is over 40 without counting straightline winds. We get a lot of tornado activity every Spring & Fall.

At least 12 people killed in Alabama so far today due to the weather. Storms still hammering us.

I'm so sorry about that Fred... :(
I'm looking at my weather underground radar on my computer, and it's showing we'll be getting the tail end of your storms here by tomorrow morning and into the afternoon.. :(
Alabama looks clear right now.. I'm hoping you are safe now..

Oh my goodness Fred. I have been watching news reports online. It looks terrible there. I am glad you are safe.

It got rough in the county I live, but not too bad in the one that I work. From what I have heard, no one in this area has died though. There has just been a whole lot of trees knocked down and some property damage. A lot of people have been without power. Mine was out for close to 10 hours yesterday.

This is a terrible picture because I was in my car and had someone coming up the road behind me but this shows a property about a mile up the road. They had trees lining their driveway. Every single one was knocked down. It looked like a set of dominoes or something. And then the roof was torn off of their barn in the background.

Death toll doubled at first light. 128 now and I expect that count will grow based on pictures I have seen.

Devastating. We had a similar outbreak in 1974 and some of the same areas were visited by these tornadoes.

I'll probably have to turn my computer off very soon.. The lights keep flickering and we are getting the tail end of the tornadoes that hit the south last night.. There have been some funnel clouds around here today and we have electrical storms as I'm writing this..

I wanted to say that my heart is with everyone that has gone, and is still going through all the devastation.. I'm praying for everyone and sending lots of healing energies to all of you and to Mother Nature. ♥♥
