I think Chris still has one ticket left if you wanted to see if you could pull it off without having a restraining order put out against you. :24: :24:

OMG. That one pack girl has a massive nose. I can't believe they don't land airplanes on that thing.

She'd need several LARGE bags over her face...

Yeeeah. My Internet connection at work sucks as you well know, so I only looked at the pack girls and I was like.... O.O

I think I annoy people. When I tell stories I end up taking like 20x longer than normal people would, because I have to include every little detail, including ones that aren't even relevant.

The annoying part is the irrelevant facts. Sometimes there's like a story within a story within a story. It's like Inception when you tell stories. :p I don't mind so much all the little details (except when you repeat yourself several times. :p) but when you get completely off the original topic...I'm like..okay, retro. let's get back on track here, buddy.

:D

I swear... I'm so sick and tired of waking up every couple of weeks with a sore neck. I started using a different pillow, and it still happened... guess I need to go buy a new one.

Yeah, I'm usually somewhat embarrassed when I tell a story within a story within a story, and then don't make it back to the original story without being prompted because I think I've finished it. /facepalm

Fresno State vs. Boise State in 7 hours and 40 minutes. I'm hoping and praying and hoping that the Dogs somehow find a way to knock Boise off of their pedestal tonight like they did to us almost exactly 10 years ago, in the same building. I'm planning on leaving work by about 3 this afternoon so I can go home and get changed, and then be up at the stadium for the ceremonial groundbreaking of our new Sports Medicine complex, and then have fun walking around the tailgates before heading into the stadium to watch what I hope is going to be a great game.

35-30 Boise State in 2001 against the 6-0 #8 ranked Bulldogs. That game started their meteoric rise to the top of the college football landscape. This year it's 4-0 #5/6 ranked Broncos walking into Bulldog Stadium, with Fresno State hoping to return the favor. Derek Carr hoping to avenge the loss his brother suffered at the hands of the Broncos that very well may have cost him the Heisman Trophy. The same brother, David, that has forced his younger brother to hang a Boise State flag in his dorm room until he beats the Broncos. Travis Brown, LB for the Bulldogs, playing against his dad's alma mater; his dad that was an assistant coach for the Bulldogs for 12 years, 7 as the defensive coordinator before dying of a brain tumor in 2009.

There are so many story lines in this former and future conference rivalry (the Broncos left the WAC to join the MWC this season, the Bulldogs are following suit next year), a rivalry that has been one-sided since that fateful day in 2001; with the Broncos owning a 9-1 record against the Bulldogs as members of the WAC. These Dogs may not have the same talent and cohesiveness that the 2001 team did, but they have the heart and determination that was on the other side of Bulldog Stadium in 2001... and we'll find out later on tonight if that will be enough for them to walk off with a victory that steals the national spotlight from the Broncos, for a week at least.
