My chili turned out pretty amazing... the steak is super tender, and the bacon added a nice touch. It needs more heat though, which shouldn't be a problem in the future.

People that get a little bit of power in one specific area and let it go to their heads amuses the fuck out of me.

I really don't understand why the person I have to share my office with is in the office as much as she is. When she started, I was told she'd be here one or two afternoons a week... she's here nearly every single day now, most days for the entire day. She's supposed to be out driving around visiting clients and prospective clients... especially prospective clients. Yet she sits here and browses the internet and generally annoys everyone else. She doesn't really bother me much, except for the fact that she's in my office and it forces me to have my lights on. My problem with the lights is that fluorescent lights make my headaches worse than they are already. So I have to wear my hat pulled as low as I can without bothering my glasses. The really sad thing is that she got fired from her last job because she wasn't selling enough, and rumor has it that unless she turns this around, she won't be here much longer either. Yet she doesn't seem to care, and just does whatever she wants. It was nice the last few days because she was out of the country for a conference in Canada, but now she's back; and I barely slept last night, and I just want her to go away. But she won't go away, well maybe she will, but it'll only be for an hour or two, and then she'll be back here again.
