Saw a new doctor today... putting me on a beta blocker to try and prevent my headaches and help my blood pressure. When I first got there, my BP was 150/110... more than a little high, and his nurse (my dad's old nurse actually, I've known her for 10 years) was getting all worked up over it. But, then they tested it about 20 minutes later and it was 138/82... so while that's still high, it's a whole helluva lot better. Then I'm getting refills for my crazy pills as well...

It's our employee appreciation day... so we're taking a limo up to the mountains to a nice restaurant about an hour away, a limo with a fully stocked bar. Then we get free drinks at the restaurant. :24: Plus, I'm just going to go home when we get back to work. So... I got to come in at 9, then "work" for two hours, and then take an hour to get there, two for lunch, and an hour to get back, and then leave at 3. I'm sure as hell not gonna complain. Well, I will complain if my boss is a fucktard and gives a speech about providing good customer service and shit on employee appreciation day... that's what he did last year, we had to listen to him drone on for about 30 minutes telling us that we needed to do a better job. Awesome way of being appreciated... fucktard.
