No no the chicken's already there, I can see it through the......thingy that's at KFC where they get the chicken. It just stays in it to keep it warm, and probably cook some now and then (well I'd hope so) but the chicken is still physically there.

Not as bad as the black beans i had from there once.

Right, they don't cook it on the spot or it wouldn't be fast food lol...takes like 40 minutes to cook. 10 is a long time to retrieve food.

I dont care if you pick up dog shit for a living, everyone should take pride in their work, kind of see your point though, my sister used to work at Muccy Ds and I couldn't put up with the shit she did. If someone spoke to me like a peice of shit like a lot of these drunken chavs do, I'd jump over the counter and knock them out! On the other side, a lot of fast food workers really are stupid cunts who deserve to be yelled at.

That made me laugh as I pctured it. Not that it's funny but reminds me of a movie I once saw. :D

Yeah I really get annoyed when I can see the burgers and chicken which is already cooked and sitting in the glass cabinet-thingy to be kept warm, yet the server tells you there is nothing made and you will have to wait.

10 minutes later they get round to picking up the chicken/burger that's been sat there the entire time. No one's made anything.

Why didn't you say that? In any event what takes 'em so bloody long?

Anybody who works an honest day for his or her pay gets my respect. Those who openly display a "I don't give a shit" attitude do not. Simple as that. My attitude transcends all trades.

I can give you the name of a local plumber who I would not hire if he was the last plumber in town for that reason.

I can't believe I just read this. How long do you think it takes to cook chicken compared to a meat patty you can damn near see through? Besides that McGutBomb precooks a ton of their meat in peak periods and keeps it in a nice yellow plastic tray.

I gotta disagree with you on this one. I never have had to wait an overly long time at a KFC and I used to go there once a week.

As to Mickey D's they do not pre cook the food here and keep it warm. In fact they have timers on the food as it comes out and it won't be sold if it has been out too long.

might be different where you are but this is my experience.

and as to shit service and the position of power as noted by somebody I totally agree. I have been treated like shit by people when getting licensed plates, post office and police. And as to the police it was not when it trouble but when I needed them to provide info or a service.

I agree with you, and when they screw up I dont take it out on anyone. I just go back and ask that they fix it.
I agree. There is absolutely no reason to talk to them like they're dogs....but I absolutely DESPISE mustard and will not touch a burger if there's mustard on it. So I will be polite, but I *will* make them remake my order.

Read post #13 per this thread.

You never worked in fast food have you?

Hardee's and Burger King were some of the shortest careers I've had in my youth LOL. I will say in retrospect, some of the abuse I received at the register did come in handy down the road.

I'm too afraid I get some nice spit in my food.

I worked at Chick-fil-a for all 4 years of college. If a customer came back w/ their food, I apologized and fixed the problem. If our mistake was bad enough I would give them a coupon for a free sandwich. I don't get a do-over in my line of work. Let me take 2 tries to get a fire truck to your house and see how YOU like it.

There's treating the employees w/ respect and there's being a doormat. I'm not going to pay for food that I absolutely cannot eat...for all they know I have a mustard allergy. I should've sent my food back at Olive Garden the other night...the only reason I didn't was b/c I was w/ a party of 4 and it would've been awkward.

And for the record, I very rarely order out so I really don't deal w/ this much.

I don't believe in disrespecting a fast food worker.
There are days when they are not in a good mood.
That's the day you come in to order.

I check my order once it's handed to me.
If there's a error,I politely tell them.
Sure they may show a attitude and hopefully they won't spit in your food.
Just call it a day after everything is checked out.
