Should you let folks know when you rep them?

Or just do it and don't be a braggert?

Well everyone can see their rep at any time. (in their user CP panel) Some times when people reply to people they will say 'pos rep given' or something. But you dont have to. I look at mine on a daily basis to see if I have gotten any. I would think that most of the people here do that as well

I do to. But its annoying not being able to see who has given the rep

Only the mods and super mods can see who gave them rep. I believe that is all we have it set up as.

Its to protect the people that give neg rep to avoid fights ect. When I give rep, I always end it with '-v'

Oh, Veronica, I aint a mod of any kind but can see who gave me rep. I think its just a minors thing these days. Never used to be able to see who gave me rep till early this year though.

That would be the best of both worlds, that way you could pay folks back with the positive, but not get shitty over the bad.

Neg rep concealed didn't work too well from what I remember because it gave cyber bullies annonymity so they could keep neg repping without anyone knowing who they were. Think this way works better so you can actually complain about someone who does this knowing who they are.
