“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they’re sure trying to do so, it’s going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can’t and won’t compromise. I know, I’ve tried to deal with them.”
~Barry Goldwater

If the religious right believe a fetus is an individual with rights...
Then they make ads showing an aborted fetus trying to shock people into not having abortion...
Should they be charged with distributing child porn since these fetuses are not clothed?

WoW. He's probably too liberal for today's GOP...

What? The private parts are not developed enough to be shown. There is a difference between child nudity aka Sally Mann and child porn. I think you really need to look that up. Plus, are you also going to tell the police/fbi about women who have ultra-sound photos of their unborn child with regards to child porn....nah, thought not, you may look silly as that statement there

It would appear a separation of religion and state is the fairest way to run government, but unfortunately that requires voters (and the politician puppets they create) who are capable of holding worldviews that allow for such things. We're not there yet. Extremism breeds extremism and we're seeing in in politics and religion as a knee jerk reaction to uncomfortable changes in our economy and social landscape.
