oh, sorry, we meant the other muhammad hakim. but look at it this way: your anal rapage might have saved thousands of children, and now you can go back to the mosque. here, have this complimentary american flag, it's on us.

Which part do you think was discusting? The part where he said, sometimes crap happens and it sucks, or the part where the people in orange jumpsuits interuped with their anti-war babble?

What do you think we should do? Leave all the bad guys alone, just to be sure we don't accidentially get the wrong guy once or twice?

Torture is inhumane, no matter who it is. It goes against international law and doesn't even work. A desperate man that is being tortured will say anything.

No, I'm not saying "leave the bad guys alone". I'm saying maybe we should do a better job so we don't imprison or torture innocent people.

Trying to apply humane resoning to a savage act, such as war, is like mixing vinegar and milk.

We need to stop referring to it as a war. Show me a declaration of war written by Congress. Then we can start saying that because we're in war, we are allowed to take certain freedoms away to protect society as a whole. The fact that politicians are calling this a war without a declaration, then using that to take away our freedoms is absurd. Yes, there is a conflict, but they are taking away our freedoms and misleading us.

I agree, this isn't a "war", so you must forgive my terminology.

I found nothing wrong with he said. He's right, when trying to capture all the bad guys, we might accidentally get the wrong guy. It happens, and that's misfortunate.

He's saying that torturing people is ok...and he wishes death upon the family's of the people in there...nothing wrong?

Yeah I'm resigning from this thread because my head is filled with too much info from studying for finals. I would not be able to think of a logical argument at the moment.

LMAO!! Is that what you heard? People are complaining, and he said "Hey, if that's how you want it, I hope it'll happen to you and your family, and not mine." Then the crowd flips out like he said something mean..... He said if that's what THEY want, then hopefully it'll only happen to THEM. How does that equate to "he wishes death upon the family's.... bla bla bla?" :confused

"Well, I hope its your families who suffer the consequences."

Thats the exact quote. Stop trying to make up stories for this guy. When someone says they HOPE YOUR FAMILY gets blown up, that is wishing death upon them. Hope means something that someone wants to happen to something. And in this case, this guy hopes that terrorists harm their families. I don't know where you think that this is ok.

Its sometimes seen as worse when America does it because we're supposed to be "civilized" and torture doesn't really clash well with th reputation of a first world country that everyone is supposed to look up to for moral guidance.
