Torture is inhumane, no matter who it is. It goes against international law and doesn't even work. A desperate man that is being tortured will say anything.Which part do you think was discusting? The part where he said, sometimes crap happens and it sucks, or the part where the people in orange jumpsuits interuped with their anti-war babble?
What do you think we should do? Leave all the bad guys alone, just to be sure we don't accidentially get the wrong guy once or twice?
Trying to apply humane resoning to a savage act, such as war, is like mixing vinegar and milk.
We need to stop referring to it as a war. Show me a declaration of war written by Congress. Then we can start saying that because we're in war, we are allowed to take certain freedoms away to protect society as a whole. The fact that politicians are calling this a war without a declaration, then using that to take away our freedoms is absurd. Yes, there is a conflict, but they are taking away our freedoms and misleading us.
I found nothing wrong with he said. He's right, when trying to capture all the bad guys, we might accidentally get the wrong guy. It happens, and that's misfortunate.
He's saying that torturing people is ok...and he wishes death upon the family's of the people in there...nothing wrong?
LMAO!! Is that what you heard? People are complaining, and he said "Hey, if that's how you want it, I hope it'll happen to you and your family, and not mine." Then the crowd flips out like he said something mean..... He said if that's what THEY want, then hopefully it'll only happen to THEM. How does that equate to "he wishes death upon the family's.... bla bla bla?" :confused
an american so gets tortured and its just something bad but if america tortures anyone we are savages...I don't get it...kind of pisses me off
