i hated them. we will see if there are ghost lines tomorow.i hope there isnt, but im going to be doing the meguires 3 step soon anyways.

There probably will be to some degree, but I promise, it's a jiff to get it all back on track.

It's funny, because now every time I see a mustang with the decals, I just wanna scream and rip em off. I liked the decals when I first got my car, but then I realized how EVERY mustang in the whole world had them and I was getting sick of seeing them. Same with the stocker grille. I find faults here and there, but it just gives me more reason to MOD!

-i dont have the decals, never did.. funny, i dont see them all that often either.

-agreed - tahts why i ditched mine too

i got rid of mine cuz they were white on a blue car and my tint and bumper inserts, chin spoiler....etc. were all black. plus im getting hypercoated black saleen wheels and the white stripes (not referring to the band) would be out of place.

That makes sense though. I guess if you really liked them, you could get some sort of black decals, but I think it looks better without.

Got any pics of yet?

ok, my uncle said hed help me switch out my pulley since i never could grease up the new one and hammer it in.. we did it last night, but he lives 45 minutes to an hour away, so i got home around 10 after hanging out over there.

now it is about 9 am and i am getting ready to return the harmonic balancer puller then ill take a few pics of the new pulley on and my stripes removed. they should be up in a while.

thanks, i just spent a few hours detailing her and i didnt realize the flash was on so the pics look f*d up. i took the pics this morning, detailed this afternoon, and have to be at work at 5. id take more pics but i dont feel like working the software to load them and all.

the main thing im excited about now is ym new pulley. it made a world of difference. no recharge or power problems after about 4 hours driving on it. if you havent done so yet, i advise a pulley install for everyone :rock

That looks 110% better without that striping.

Now you just need some Rims.

edit: and maybe a lowering. 1.5-2 inch drop would look sweet with some 16s or 17s under there.

:agree

It looks great!! And, I'm gonna do a pulley sometime soon too, I really hope so anyways. Where did you get yours and what was the cost?

Was it hard to do yourself? I'm sure I'll need another set of hands to do it huh?

my future plans are the eibach pro kit and 18" black saleens. actually hypercoated saleens. they are powdercoated black then polished to a shine, kindof gunmetal and black mix.

and yes it was tough because i have never pulled pulleys before and the help of my drag racing uncle was appreciated much by me. the pulley was a motoblue pully from www.rpmoutlet.com and i got a goodyear gatorback belt as well and with the 8 dollars shipping the grand total was 196 dollars. you will need about 15 bucks to rent a harmonic balancer puller and you get your $ back after you return it. im pleased with the results
