I've been not taking pictures for a long time. There are several reasons for that, but my roommate got me to bust out my camera this weekend.

I would have under normal circumstances. But we were out by the pool yesterday, and I was just kind of messing around with what I could do. I was more looking at the composition.

I looked in your gallery and really like the end of the fiddle shot. That kind of photography isn't what I like to do but I do appreciate nice work. :clap You should put some more shots up there.

Thanks, Guy. I'm not actually usually the person to take these types of pictures. I've always preferred scenery. But there's not a lot of scenery where I live, so I can only do it rarely. I'm heading up north for a few days next week, so I intend to take some pictures.

My pleasure... You live in Arizona don't you? I was always under the impression there was lots to shoot there. You have such diverse scenery with the deserts etc. Lizards, cacti, old towns and such like so I'm kinda perplexed when you say there's not a lot of scenery.

So....... what model of Canon do you have and what len(s) do you bolt to the front of it?

I do live in Arizona, but I'm limited on how far I can travel most days with my daughter. There's not much in Phoenix to take pictures of that I can get to a high enough point to shoot.

My camera's a Canon Rebel XS with the 55mm lens that came with it. I'm hoping to purchase some better ones when the semester starts back up.
