If you were cooking pancakes for me right now, I know good karma would be coming your way!:24:
I'm probably making some lemon poppyseed pancakes sometime in the next 2 days. I'll share. :tooth
You do know most of the Online stuff comes from Subsidiary companies right ?
Order fulfillment Centres like this one..
http://fulfillrite.com/howitworks.htm
They are subcontracted out to fill an order and ship what ever you buy online. They can be the same company you looked at for 4 different supplier and don't really care who you bought it from..
I am fighting with a Sears sub-contractor with called FiftyOne to get my product I ordered.. Really frustrating..
Fifty one goes under the name Border Free when you type their web link.. :cool
http://www.borderfree.com/
Hence why I really try to avoid shopping online and would have rather bought these in store but Sears told me I could only get them this way.. :mad
Soon we will have no stores and no way to see stuff and return it..
right now I'm getting something similar from Toshiba
sent my tablet in with a 30 dollar preset up box and wrong serial number in system vs my device so they sent it back
why didn't they just call?
now I had to go get a magnifying glass to see the serial number and they supposedly sent me another preset box to send it in (another 30 bucks) but I have not received it yet and its been 2 weeks
all this because they have a manufacture defect of it not sensing touch
450 bucks for this damn tablet uggg
I also buy in store whenever possible.
Online stores do help to bring down the price somewhat due to competition...would be nice to see the street lined with more stores however.
A guy that worked at BestBuy was telling me the new corporate stores will be the size of a Subway Sandwich store and you will see one Samsung 3D TV ( one size only ) and one LG and so one and no returns allowed. They will either order it for you from their cash register and it will be delivered to you as if you bought it online ( for people afraid to buy online ) or you can do it yourself.. Expect to see a lot of layoffs in the next while with many stores closing down..
Basically it's the people window shop and buy online problem.. They think they are getting a deal but this will be the end result..
I would not be surprised if Walmart, ToyRUs and so many more follow suit in the next few years. Sears is already going that way per my post. They stock hardly nothing in store..
A shame really..
But I guess we need to do the round until enough people get fried and want stores again and to deal with people.. :ninja
Sums it up.A shame really..
you realize that is illegal right?I'm still waiting for HP to send me a box to send back the first desktop I ever bought. Thankfully I was smart enough to go to Walmart, buy another one, and return the defective one in that box. That was almost 15 years ago.
you realize that is illegal right?
Not saying I wouldn't do that.
I plead the 5th. :ninja
Grand jury will fix that........ninja Smiley.
