Do you ever read a book that you either liked so much or didn't understand something in the book?

Yes, I've read a book and kept rereading it because of the nice story line. However, I have yet to encounter a book that has parts that are difficult to understand.

No. I have a hard time as it is reading one book. I like to read but my attention span isn't focused enough for completing books.

I do both, had to read the Silmarillion twice to properly understand it and there are many books I've enjoyed re-reading. I find emersing myself in another world to be exciting!

I used to re-read Lord of the Rings nearly every year, but I don't have that kind of time anymore. I've read the Harry Potter books 3-4 times now I think, the Wheel of Time about 4 (and it's getting close to time to read them all again in preparation for the last one in March), most of John Grisham's books at least twice, and the list goes on. I usually end up noticing something that I didn't see before in nearly ever read-through, or gaining a deeper understanding of a specific plot item.

I don't read as much as I used to, but I have read several books several times. Sometimes I'll forget parts of a book I've read and, when I reread it, I'm like "oh yeah, I forgot about that part!!!" LOL

There are also certain movies (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Outsiders) that I'll watch over and over again...like everytime it comes on, I'll sit there and watch it, LOL

I used to love John Grisham books! Went through all of them in less than a year once. The last one I read was the Appeal, and I didn't even get through that one completely. I got annoyed at him when he was releasing books that had nothing to do with his traditional genre and stopped reading.

It depends on the book/author. I have read all my Carl Hiaasen books at least twice, some more, because he takes to long to bring out a new one.:mad I've read my John Lescroart ones twice, and I plan on reading The Millenium Trilogy again when I've finished my few other unread novels.
