Do you ever read a book that you either liked so much or didn't understand something in the book?

I haven't done either

I have re-read a book I liked a lot again. I have also re-watched episodes of a series I've liked before on tv. And the movies I do buy (not many) I do watch over and over.

I read books several times, which is why I prefer to buy instead of borrow from the library.

Hell, I read the last Harry Potter book to the end, then opened it to the first page and started all over again :)

I feel like a nerd lol. I've re-read the Harry Potter series about 5 or 6 times now. The first half of the Vampire Chronicles a few times. Freakonomics 3 or 4 times. Dune series is my next re-read.

I don't find many new books that pull me like these.

I re-read many books. Most of the time for school/college but a few like Jane Eyre, The Stone Cage, The Bell Jar etc for pleasure.

I read Twilight and books like it a lot when I'm really ill and can't concentrate properly.

Librarys are bloody annoying. I wish I didn't waste time getting a card.

Never have anything I want to read despite me having a list of over 60 books. Everything is in bizarre sections (like Black Fiction. Why aren't books with Black main characters allowed in the normal Fiction section? And what is 'City Girls' and how does that differ from fiction?) and the staff really really need to learn the Dewey Decimal System. It's not rocket science (I learnt it when I was 10!) and learning it would mean that their idiotic staff can put non-fiction books in the correct order so people can find books they are after.

If I'm reading a series, I'll tend to re-read from the beginning when the next book in the series comes out, and yes I've read Harry Potter more than once too! Or if a favourite book is being made into a film I'll often re-read the book to refresh the story for me. At school my favourite book was The Great Escape, I read it every year of high school, and a few times since.

I do that too! I got my first Harry Potter book when the series started so I grew up with Harry Potter and have re-read them many times.

The most read book from my teenage years is probably The Bell Jar by Plath. I've read it so many times and I wrote about it for my Literature Coursework at college

I've re-read almost every book I've ever read. When I like something, I like it.

There are a few I read when I was younger that I re-read as an adult, and at time I found myself saying "Ooooohhhh!!!!"

Oh yes, there are a lot of books which I've re-read a dozen times. Some books look really used in between. :)
(Especially my Stephen-King-Books look like someone has driven over them... :ninja)
