i know for me if i lived in a bad area i would wear it. esp going to my car at night. i'm only 5'1'' 107lbs. there's not a lot of fight in me against a man twice my size. I mean it's like having a loaded gun...they're terribe things if put in the wrong hands, but can be a great defense when used correctly.

I'd find that very uncomfortable to stick it up my ass and leave it there if I was going out at night and didn't expect to go home til the wee hours of the morning...That's the only time I would think of using it. I don't see myself ever getting raped during the day so I'd only use it at night...

If you're a woman that's gripped by a constant, irrational fear of being raped, this product is just for you.

To me, this product seems kind of silly. The chances of being raped are extremely rare, which kind of takes away the practicality of this item.

Just keep in mind that this was invented by a South African woman... here rape is very prevalent. I venture to say we probably have the highest per capita rape statistics around.

That said, I don't think this product has caught on here either, since I have never personally seen one, and don't know a single woman who has/uses one.
