Is he a very religious person? How old is this person, over 40?
Sometimes the way someone was raised dictates how they percieve societies actions.
Older people (40+) were usually raised that cursing in a workplace is disrespectful and crude. If this is the case, I'm sure he feels he should not have to be subjected to listening to it while at work (where he cannot get away from it, like at the mall).
Religious people are taught that uttering curse words are foul and against their religion. Having to listen to it would certainly be considered "torture" in this mindset. Knowing that you know they don't like it .. would be a direct threat and of course hey would act on it .. by going to a super and not you.
Again, not taking their side .. but maybe giving you some insight into why this person is acting this way towards you. I always try to figure out why a person acts the way they do before I get mad at them. That way if I am inadvertantly doing something that annoys them .. I can at least try to figure it out/maybe fix it ... before I get angry back
.
Sometimes people are just jerks though. I have dealt with many before. I'm usually extra sugary nice to them though .. that seems to piss in their cereal more than aruging back (which is actually what that type of person wants .. someone to banter with).
