Random PW thread!

Well, just rang the company who sees to gas boilers and they told me it may not be today that someone comes out. I got told it will be today but that the company couldn't say what time.

I also got told that they had 30 other calls from yesterday afternoon to this morning about their boilers, so who knows!

Then I got told that they have up to 3 days to call out, from when the call was first made, so at the worst I may not get anyone to call til Friday.

That's just to see what's wrong with it. If anything's needed for it, then that could take til the middle of next week if they don't have the part (s) with them!

I am so fed up now, cos I don't have a tumble-dryer, so I can't get washing dried either and it's too cold to hang washing out, although I have tried today with what I had washed.

I am meant to be out this Friday evening, but won't be able to have my bath before if it's not fixed. :mad

For now, I just have to sit in, incase they just happen to call today, but they prob won't. If not, then I have to stay in tomorrow and wait all over again!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh, I am so fed up now and bored!!!!!!!!!! :(

Yeah and so will I stink too, Amy if they don't fix it very soon.

I hate not bathing properly - I love that clean fresh feeling, especially when I am about to go out.

A wash at the basin just doesn't do it enough for me. :(

That's a shame hun - bet you're lost without your dryer then, having been use to one. You really miss things when you have them for a while, huh?

My cooker broke down too, just out of nowhere a little while ago - I have to wait to buy one til I find a company who will install it too. So, for now having to make do with a little baby belling type cooker. Hoping to get my new cooker before Christmas though, but don't know yet.

So it's all going on. :(

Yes, but that post I have quoted, above yr quote, was ten minutes after the last one I posted and it still said to wait 30 secs from last post! :confused

Yep, it certainly is lol. At least it wasn't a serious post I was trying to post to another - I don't like keeping ppl waiting on replies if I can help it.

Anyway, since all this, the boiler man came, which is why no reply for a while - hooraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, it's done!!!!!! :)

This time last yr it went on me too and needed a new circuit board thingy. This time, it was the valve not opening that's in my airing cupboard, to send the water around the rads.

So, it's all good now and I won't smell after all and I can have my bath before I go out now. lol :) I have a bath most days, but it's even nicer when I am getting ready to go out.

Just the cooker to sort now and I'll be ok. :)
