I wish they would give me a time of either morning or afternoon, they just said they were coming today. I hate it if you miss them too because they tell you to phone them not they phone you when they are the ones who will get into trouble with health and safety if they don't do it! I even missed them a second time once and then they started threatening me with legal action to gain access!:wtf:

Oh right, I can phone for an am or pm time - when they send a letter, stating the date they will be calling, you can phone them to say you need an am or pm slot.

As it is a legal requirement to have boilers serviced, b/c as you say it's the Health & Safety issue, if they can't gain access but tried, it is then the house owner/tennant who gets in trouble and can be taken to court. Harsh, but that's how they play it.

Maybe you can call the office they are based at to see if they can guide you as to whether it'll be more likely am or pm?

I was just thinking - have you noticed that all of a sudden, just recently, there are all these demands to have this, have that, do this, do that on here? After all this time of it going just right......

Everything's just fine with this forum - it's V's forum, but if ppl try changing it and get it changed, it won't be so much hers - well it will, but do you know what I mean?

I don't get it.

Maybe I am too old fashioned or something, but there is nothing wrong with how things are.

Maybe a fee towards the running of this forum from each person who registers will help out all this extra time that's already been explained there isn't enough of?
