You may all have to get drunk for me now!
I had a call from the friend I was out with today. Her dad's had a major heart attack and she needs me to have her daughter tomorrow. Her dad doesn't live too near to her and kids can't visit just yet, so I will go bed soon to be up early to get a couple of things done before she drops her off.
The next 12-24 hours are crucial she was told.
So, although I had had a glass of wine just before she rang and it was making me a bit heady, it isn't affecting me now.
Bad news does that doesn't it, to some ppl - kinda counteracts the alcohol somehow.
I am worried for her obviously. She is a good friend and this is a shock.
Don't know when I will be on here after tonight. Obviously, I need to be there for her as much as possible to help her out anyway she needs for now. I could end up having having her daughter with me all day, maybe overnight for all I know. Her daughter is autistic, so she will not be too great in herself tomorrow.
Was only 2 weeks ago, I was visiting her Mum in hospital! She's home now, but not good either.
Anyway, play things by ear for the next few days especially. I will go in a while though.

Whatever happened to Johnny? He used to post a lot of random stuff here and then someone exposed another alter ego who was a bit random too because they had the same I.P., haven't seen him round here since about then!
