... that has nothing to do with what I said... I'm talking about a man overcomplimenting his date, not himself.

I know and have already referred to that in another post of mine, saying men don't overcompliment their date here, it's done just enough. Then to explain, as you were still convinced they do, it is themselves they wld be more likely to overcompliment.

Anyway, doesn't matter cos Audra's date didn't compliment her, let alone overcompliment her, so he won't be getting a date at all like that either.

My point is is that you can't say that about all English men though.

Audras date probably had his reasons to not compliment her. That doesn't make him a slimeball and not worth a second date though. Perhaps he likes taking things slow.

The discussion I had was more an overall topic of complimenting and how it's difficult to do everything correctly because virtually anything can be turned against a mans favor.

I microwave mine nowadays, cos it took too long in the oven. Ok, I dnt get the lovely crispy jacket that way, but they still taste good.

Well, it was me, my mom, my dad, my nannie, my son, and 2 of his buddies. We always make an extra one, cas sometimes my daddy eats 2. lol

So really only 2 extra taters, the rest are normal dinner lol.

Awww, a proper family get together. That's good when some families manage that.

I never had that, but admire those who do. Good for you hun.
