I gotta go to walmart in a litte while to get school supplies for the girls. I have been dreading doing this but since they start Mon I better do it now

Oh just the usual for me. I'm going to therapy and preparing myself for a 3rd surgery on my hand. Hopefully this one will be my last. I'll be getting a tendon transfer done. It's a simple operation. Your pinky finger has two tendons, they'll be taking one of them from my pinky and transferring it to my ring finger. I should be able to leave the hospital after I'm out of surgery.

I think I'd take thyroid surgery any day. Not that I can have it again.
My mom has thyroid problems.
I'd imagine thyroid surgery would be a big deal. Is it not?
I couldn't eat for about a day after (yay for a clear liquid diet), I couldn't move more my neck normally for about a month, and I'm on medicine for the rest of my life but nothing as big as moving a tendon.
I beg to differ, I'd rather have a tendon transfer than someone yanking my thyroid gland out and telling me I need to take medicine in order to well...live. Sorry Sneakiecat, that really sucks. You'll be fine though, just take your meds.
One pill a day, so it's no big deal. The only thing is now that I'm pregnant, they're having to change my dosage every month or two to keep up with my weight gain and metabolism change.
One pill a day? Eh, not to bad considering.
