well the contract i signed, has a 3 month probation, i got a promotion from the truss building plant to the designing office. so i was getting paid hourly which was the bi-weekly payment for the first 3 months of working here.
Now that i have worked here for 3 months i switched to salary which is the bi-monthly

the last place I worked at tried and push me to become salary I told them hell no there was no way I was going to work 80+ hours a week and get paid for 40.

yeah i hear ya. Its pretty rare that i would need to work 80+ hours every 2 weeks. Switching to salary gave me a pretty good raise though.

my first salary paycheck is tomorrow so well see exactly how much more it is. Im kinda thinkin they might tax the shit outa my check and it will be equal to the hourly. i dunno well see

How is bi-weekly much different than bi-monthly .. both are getting paid twice a month. I'm confused.

I get paid bi-monthly and I get my checks on the 1st and 15th.

k well bi-weekly is every second week. so for me that was every second friday.
bi-monthly is on the 15th and last day of the month. so there is no set day that you get paid, like a friday. its just whatever day that happens to be the 15th or last day of the month......

omg my mind just got blown away. My friend Dannielle who moved away told me that her sister just moved to where im living. She gave her sis my number and said she will call me somtime soon. Well she just did, and we both just realized we know eachother. We hooked up after the bar one night. So, im just fuckin blown away right now.
