I'm alright. kinda stressed out cuz i lent some money to this friend of mine. And I think he spent it on crack cuz his neighbors dont even know where he went. hes been gone for 2 days. and since he didnt pay me back my insurance payment went NSF. So im pretty pissed off.

Well shit i have been friends with him for a while and hes never done me wrong. Just recently i found out he used to be into hard drugs. and i know (learnt the hard way once again) to not lent money to people that are into or have been into hard drugs.

So,..........yeah i dunno. I was drunk when i lent it to him. Not so much that i wouldnt remember doing so, but ever notice how your much much more genereous when your drunk?

Yeah... I know what you mean. It still sucks that he would do that to you. But with people like that, drugs mean more to them then true friendship. I am going thru this with someone right now... and it totally sucks because they dont comprehend anything else but their need.

Rule of thumb .. if people need to borrow money .. that means they don't know how to budget their money. So don't expect to see it back any time soon, if at all.

Also, if you don't have the money to loan without putting yourself in a bind (meaning you don't have enough to cover it like as if you had just lost it) .. then just say no, else you put yourself in the same boat they were in.
