Its alright, cept for these blueprints im looking at were drawn by a fuckin moron. So now i have to call him and tell him to get it redrawn cuz i can't design the roof he wants. And i know that right away hes gonna be like "what do you mean? i drew it myself theres no way its wrong." and im gonna have to describe over the phone exactly where i need measurments and what he needs to change. AND THAT NOT PART OF MY JOB! He is the drawer, im the designer....it just gets annoying after this happens about once a week.

that would have been a good post in the rantalicious thread

haha yeah true that. its funny, the company did an estimate as to how much the tech designers are worth to the company an minute, and its 2.27$. a minute haha. i sure as hell dont get paid that much. so yeah i just wasted 2.27$ of my companys money typing this lol

You have no idea how many times I would tell the architect that what he had drawn could not be built. And it usually was the roof lines that they fucked up. After spending a bunch of time trying to explain it to them on the phone, they would end up just telling me to fix the problem in the field... That why I always said that it should be mandatory for all architects and designers to have at least 2 years actual field work... so they can better understand what they are drawing.
