It's a lot of different things. Your first year of teaching is your hardest and I'm starting mine five months pregnant. I'll be missing several weeks of school right before all the testing (and maybe through some of it). The district I want to teach in is rated one of the best in the state and everybody wants to work here, especially the area I live in and want to work in. That's why I'm considering either sub (which isn't consistant and has no benefits) or being a teacher's aide (benefits but the pays not great and not a lot of positions). But I don't know if I want to do that either.

I got two paychecks when I was only expecting one...The second is much bigger too.
I can't imagine my vision being much worse. My glasses are the ones with the thinner lenses and they still are thick.
