I am not from Cuba, unlike the people in the episode. Nana sounds Cuban and she was born in Florida.
Well, maybe you shouldn't stereotype and assume all Cubans sound the same. They could be from Cuba, but maybe they went to Oxford?
They sounded more French than anything else. And I'm not sterotyping. Yessenia dad's Cuban (and actually from Cuba) and sounds nothing like they did.

How's things gone for you all today then? Anything interesting happening today?
I saw my son off this morning - he's gone off on his 1st little trip without me. He'll love it.
I'm actually not too bad about it either - thought I'd be useless with him going away frm me and all, but it's fine. I suppose when he goes off for his contact weekends, helps with parting frm him today - plus the fact he will be home Fri night, so it's only 3 days.
Gonna have my dinner now, be back later on sometime, maybe.
