Can I rant? Please let me rant!! I've booked to fly to the US for a holiday in April (do some sightseeing etc)...booked and paid for my airfares and now my boss is wanting me to delay my holiday so I can attend a conference as a representative for disability services, something that any number of people in the office could do adequately. Gah!! :mad

This is going to sound really selfish on my part...I do have the option of pushing the departure date back to a later time without a penalty and they are refundable as well, but I really don't want to put my holiday off. I've been looking forward to going for 6 months...just having a break from work and wander around the US by myself. I try to do everything that I'm asked to do at work because I like my job, but this time...well...

I know, I'm selfish *hangs head* smack me now...
