Makaton is a form of communication that incorporates sign and symbols. It's used for people who are not deaf, but cannot communicate through speech.

I fold any paper I come across. Straw wrappers, receipts, gum wrappers, anything. Back when we were dating, I had folded and kept a gum wrapper from a peice of gum my husband gave me. I had it for about six months (yes, I'm a pack rat too) until I lost it.
