I really hate the commerical where the blind guy goes into the bathroom and feels the faucet and then ask people if they seen it. I know the point they are trying to make but blind people really do ask sighted people if they've seen something. They know we can see. It's just like my deaf friend asking me if I heard the rain outside one day.

In that case, "seeing" is a metaphor, the blind guy was using his sense of touch to feel and examine the faucet. He has a mental picture of how it looks in his mind.

Oh, I know. But the guy more than likely would say "Did you see..." in a normal conversation, thus not making the comment anything special.

I had one of those days where Matt and I just laid in bed for over an hour after waking up, just snuggling and being together. Good start to the day.
