You should have just been honest and told her that you were a little upset about her not wanting to talk to you straight away when you called, JT. Honesty and communication are pretty important in a relationship.

I think it's ok to ask if you can ring back if they are already doing something - if they explain, as she did, should be ok I think. If the time was planned and agreed, then maybe yes, she was a bit off?
