Well, dragon, haven't had a great life, but these last few years have been my best - I don't bother with vindictive ppl, backstabbers, whether family or not, so I live how I choose and have far more fun for it.

Fun is what's important and that's how it should be.

LOL, that's funny about what you say about your aunt, mum & grandma - I am old enough to be a grandma but feel at least 20 yrs less than that. :) ;)

That's awesome! I hope he likes it, it's a really great instrument that can play just so many different types of music. How old is your son?

Yeah he got a guitar for his birthday just gone and is always excited about it, i never played too well but can play enough to teach him the basic chords, He LOVES to listen to music and see if he can follow the notes that way which is amazing and im hoping its something he grows to love even more, Hes only 8 so he can grow to be very talented if he likes it enough =)

Daft Punk makes house music. Aphex Twin makes electronic/experimental music.

Ahhhh ok i see =)

Aphex Twin's songs are so unique. I've never heard any other artist or band sound like him.

NSW, Australia. Man, Almost summer here, lol.

Lol, that can explain a lot. It's almost summer here too! I'm in Florida, USA where it like... never gets cold.

Awww! That is so awesome! That really is so cool that at 8 he already loves music and is willing to try to play the guitar. He can definitely grow up to be really talented when he gets older if he keeps at it. Do you know what kind of guitar it is?

3/4" by chance? Is it an electric fender type, or accoustic/classical?

If it can be plugged in to be amplified then it's a acoustic electric. I don't know much about those kinds of guitars but if that's what your saying then I know what your talking about.

It's a little easier to start on a electric guitar, the strings aren't as thick and they are easier to press down and strum. But some say it's actually better to start on acoustic for that reason, makes electric just that much easier.
